SKETCH Saturday-Jan 12th-Lora Brinkman

Our second featured sketch artist is Lora Brinkman! Last year we featured her and one of her layout sketches. She gladly offered another sketch this year! Thanks so much Lora!!!

Here's a little on Lora:

Hi all!! My name is Lora Brinkman and I live in Columbia, Missouri with my wonderful husband, Chris, and his 5 year old daughter Callie. I've been scrapping 4 years and I fell in love with it the moment I started. Over the past 4 year years I have really tried to "find myself" through working with various types of products. Finally, it is the decision of everyone that knows me that I am definitely a flower girl. Very few layouts do I create without a floral patterned paper or flowers of some sort. I also LOVE to layer patterned papers and I actually find it more difficult to work with cardstock than anything else.

I love what scrapbooking has brought in to my life. I have made so many great friends. I love staying up late to scrapbook by myself and crop parties with friends are always a blast, but I find I don't get much done! Currently, I am the owner of Sketch Shak. One of the first layouts I submitted was picked up and was featured in the January 2008 Memory Makers Magazine. It's amazing how that feeling of recognition can just make your mojo flow!
