SISTER Sunday - July 13th

Please welcome our newest "sister of the week"!

Lacey Ganther

Tell us about your family: I Have been married almost 3 years to John. He works in Vegas. He is a welder on the high rises. I am a stay at home mommy to 2 BEAUTIFUL children Rikki-Lynn and Xander

Who/What inspired you to start scrapbooking? My sister got me into scrappin right after my daughter was born. (she doesn’t scrap anymore)

Does anyone in your family also scrap? My aunt does and my step mom.

What size do you normally scrap? 12X12

What is your favourite colour scheme? Purple.. anything with purple in it

How many hours a week do you scrap? As many as I can.. usually about 20.

What is one thing you always find yourself reaching for when creating a layout? Patterned Paper, Flowers and my paper trimmer.

Describe your scrapping style in just three words. Simple, fun, ME!

Our featured sketch artist this week is JODIE KAUTZNER!
Here what Jodie says:

Hello fellow crafters! My name is Jodie Kautzner and I live in St. Louis, MO with my loving husband Adam and our two wonderful little boys Ashton and Peyton.

I started scrapping in 1998 and 10 years later I am still addicted! My most recent obsession is creating sketches! I am such a planner in all aspects of my life, so naturally sketches really appeal to me. You can see more of my sketches at http://sketchitout.blogspot.com/.

I have recently joined the design team a Croppinsville, USA and the sketch design team at Creative Scrappers. I also have an upcoming publication in the July/August issue of Scrap N Art and will be a June guest designer at pagemaps.com.

I am so honored to be have been invited here as a Saturday Sketch Artist! I hope you can put this sketch to good use.

Julie's Favorite layout

Tell us about your favorite layout you have ever completed. My favorite is a recent layout of my daughter. I often like to include a new element to my page; one that wasn’t necessarily intended for the purpose I use it.

What do you love the most about scrapping? Watching the looks on my kids face when they flip through their albums.

Have you ever taught a scrapbooking class? Yes.

Have you ever been published? Yes, about 10 times.

What type of camera do you use? Canon Rebel

I can't imagine my life without ...Jesus, my Lord and Savior.
