Here's a favorite technique from Amanda:

"Aside from cutwork, my other favorite technique to use on my scrappy projects is penwork. Rarely do I feel a layout or card is complete without it. I love using my Sharpie markers and my trusty Uniball Signo white gel pen (if you don't have one of these, run to a store and find one...you'll love it) to add the little extra details, that to me, make the final project pop.

For example, I love to add faux stitching, outline patterns in the paper, and outline my chipboard letters. Try it sometime if you haven't!"
