TEXT Thursday - January 24th
Thanks, Megan, for this journaling challenge :-)
"Since I am so into writing, words and telling your story, it seemed fitting that I issue a sort of Book of Me blog challenge for today.
Tell us what lessons you would like to teach your children. When you look back 30 years from now, what life lessons would you like your children to have learned from you. Even if you don't have kids, you can still answer this question. Really, the question could be rephrased into: what are the most important lessons you have learned (or still hope to learn) about yourself and life."

wooooooooooow this is so amazing! I'd like to do this one
Well, since I am old enough to look back 30 years, I would like to have done things a little differently. One life lesson I would like them to have learned is to love, be kind, take care of yourself & be independant then no matter what happens, you are okay and so are your loved ones. I really have lots more but that's it for now!!
So interesting to see this today...just yesterday my 10-year old asked me a whole bunch of 'what's your favorite ____' questions and then asked me to write her a letter. Without much planning (she wanted it right away!) I put some thoughts in the letter that really were life lessons. Maybe we could scrap a letter to our children....
