TEXT Thursday-Vacations are Over...

Wow, I can't believe it'a Thursday, already! I can't believe is almost September!!!The summer's nearly gone, and that means "back-to-school" for me. I'll be teaching grade 6 and grade 2 this year.I'm also part-time librarian at my school.

Blog about what you will be doing when September rolls around. Any plans, or just the usual stuff? What are the things you and your family normally do in September? Are there special events you attend?

We'd love to hear all about it. Tell us in a comment here or blog about it and leave your link.

Have a great day, everyone!

My kids aren't in school yet so September doesn't change much except when the weather starts to change. This September is a little different though. My husband will be deploying to Iraq and September will start his 15 month tour. I suppose it's also the start of my scrapping more often as one thing to keep me busy while he's away.

For us September means not only back to school but also the Jewish High Holidays. They take up a lot of time during September and October but it's one of my favorite times of the year.

This year, for the last time, I will have a child in each type of school... elementary (grade 5), middle (grade 7), high school (grade 11) and college (a senior, oy vey!). This is a milestone year in so many ways.

September is a time in our Area...where the Steamed Crabs are the best...we like to take motorcycle rides out to the river and have crabs....such beautiful weather this time of year in Maryland.
