SKETCH Saturday OCT 4-Susan Costanza

Well, first of all, I would like to wish everyone a HAPPY CARD MAKING DAY!!! Wahoo!!! There are sooooo many cardmaking crops and challenges out there today so find a spot and settle in and make some cards. Or you can forum/blog hop from place to place and combine challenges!!! That's fun! I enjoy doing that!

OK, let's get on to our Sketch artist today. It was so wonderful how this worked out as I plan my sketchers out months ahead and today just happened to be a card sketch artist who has her own card sketch a DAY blog--Susan Costanza!!!

Here's what Susan has to say:

My name is Susan Costanza and I've been scrapping for about 5 years. A few months ago I started creating cards for troops. One thing lead to another and I started up a ~Card Sketch A Day~ blog.

I have a supreme love of creating sketches which is why I'm a sketch artist at
Apron Strings and The ScrapRoom. I encourage you to check both of them out. The customer service for both clubs is top notch and their kits are fully packed and very well coordinated.

Over at Apron Strings they have an exclusive double page sketch created by me which can be used for either their Bigger Than a Breadbox or Smaller Than a Breadbox kits, yes they have two totally different kits each month! Plus they showcase an exclusive card sketch also created by me. When you work on both sketches, and a 3rd (using the sketch in a altered way), you get entered into their monthly challenge for a prize, you'll find more information by joining their yahoo group. I'll also be posting the double page and card sketches on my blog on the 25th of each month here (there is a delay with the months): Sketches with SusieQScrapbook .

At The ScrapRoom they have an exclusive single layout sketch created by me for the Newsletter Sketch Monthly Challenge and there is a prize giveaway! Check their message board on the first of each month for the sketch to arrive. You'll have until the 23rd of the month to upload a layout to that thread. The winner will be shown on the 25th of the month in their online newsletter (which I'm the editor of!). I'll also be posting the sketch on my blog Sketches with SusieQScrapbook. Wait, there's more! For kit club members only, there is a monthly card recipe download (sketch and cutting directions) and a sentiment download. I've created a multi use sketch which can be used by all four of their monthly kits along with an example from each kit. What a great way to use the leftovers.

And here are Susan's sketch and card samples.

Thanks so much Susan!!! Cardmakers everywhere I encourage you to do a card today using any of Susan's sketches on her blog or the one I've posted at Sisterhood of Scrap. Please come back here to tell us where we can find your card and I'll choose a random winner who will receive a small RAK from me!!! (winner will be chosen OCT. 11)
