SISTER Sunday - October 12th

Good afternoon! First of all I wanted to wish our sister, Susan, a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! She is a very hard-working woman, with two small children. She works and also goes to school -- studying to be a nurse. Susan, we love you and wish you only the BEST on your birthday and every day!! Hope someone made you a cake :-)

Now, time for our sister-of-the- week!
Welcome Sheryl Springer!

Tell us about your family: I have been married for 21 years to the love of my life Eric, we have one child: daughter Stephanie who is in college & her boy friend Travis. My daughter is going to be a photographer which I am just thrilled with and very proud of her. I live in a small town in Iowa. I am a stay at home mom which I just loved doing cause I had the chance to see our daughter grow up to be a very independent young lady. I also am a secretary for our local church. My husband works for our local Coop so now I am a harvest widow. :0( And he is also our churches Lay Leader.

Who/What inspired you to start scrapbooking? I guess I have, always scrapbooked every sense I was in Middle school I had clipping and all those neat things young girl would collect. But I really started in 1997 after a trip to Idaho and Yellowstone.

Does anyone in your family also scrap? Well my mom does some when I can get her excited about it and my Mother-in-law does some too.

What size do you normally scrap? I started out doing 8 ½ x 11 but now I love doing 12x12 but I find my self every once in awhile doing 8x8

What is your favourite colour scheme? I really don’t have a favorite color scheme, I mainly try to match the colors in the pictures.

How many hours a week do you scrap? Not enough. Mainly, just a couple hours a week.

What is one thing you always find yourself reaching for when creating a layout? I love alphabet stickers and alphabet stamps.

Describe your scrapping style in just three words. Made with love.

Sheryl submitted the above layout for our Week 75 challenge. You can see more of her work on her blog: http://esspring.blogspot.com/

Drop by tomorrow for our weekly challenge!
