Challenge MONDAY-Sept 1st

Happy Labour Day, everyone!!! Hope you're all having a relaxing day, taking a break from your work!!

Are you ready for today's challenge?
Well, here it is...

Since this is BACK TO SCHOOL time, I want you to create a layout about school, learning, lessons, graduation... It DOES NOT have to be school related, if you don't want it to be. Maybe you could do a layout about things your parents taught you, piano lessons, hockey school, cake decorating class, teaching your kid to ride bike...you get the idea!

Send your challenge to us at mailto:sisterhood.of.scrap@gmail.com?subject=sept1 by Sunday, Sept 8th!Please make sure you use the link above. This makes it so much easier for us to filter our emails and ensures that we don't miss your submission!

You'll have a chance to enter your name for a prize from our sponsor this month -- LOVE IS IN THE DETAILS--- It will give you a chance to become our NEXT sister, as well!

Here are the sister's creations:

TRACEY

journalling reads:

I remember when I was a child and my dad had this interesting method of having my siblings and I work out our differences - we were to walk up and down our laneway holding hands. I can remember a time Jim and I were fighting about something (what I can't remember) and Dad sent us out to do the laneway walk. We were not happy in the beginning but by the end we were skipping along and swinging our hands! Dad may have been a little creative in his discipline but I think there was some genius there too!

DEANNE

Journalling reads:

My Grade 6 class of 07-08.What a great bunch of kids.Every year it gets harder to send them off to Grade 7, to a new school! But that's something I have to learn as a teacher, "Let them go!" (but it's sad)

SUSAN

Here's a LO with a photo of my oldest daughter holding onto her little sister's hands helping her to walk. I love this photo because it shows how much they love each other, and how much they can learn from each other!

CARLA (is on vacation and is nowhere near a computer OR scrapping supplies)
