SKETCH Saturday-Ap. 5-Sally Saenz
Our featured sketch artist today is SALLY SAENZ!!!Here's a little about her:
I've been scrapbooking off and on for about 11 years, and when I discovered rubber stamping in 2004, the connection between scrapbooking and stamping was a no brainer for me! I love to smear ink or paint on my pages and stamp images to "make" my own patterned paper. The quality of my work improved tremendously just since then, and there is NO turning back for this scrapper!
My love of stamping blossomed into a part time business with Stampin' Up! and my online research for new and fun projects led me to www.splitcoaststampers.com (SCS). They have weekly challenges for all kinds of things and I was immediately drawn to the scrapbooking sketches. That in itself renewed my creativity, and a little over a year ago I began doing my own sketches. It started as something I was sharing with my Stampin' Up! customers, but evolved into more than that. I guest hosted SCS sketch challenges now and then, and recently I have joined the Scrapbooking Challenge Team as the "regular sketch gal!" ;) It is a great honor to be part of this team with such fabulous ladies, and I am so honored to be your featured artist this week!
The sketch I'm sharing with you today isn't one of my newer ones, but I like to think of it as an oldie but a goodie! I had a lot of fun scrapping it...and yes, I used stamps! :D
All of my sketches are in my Splitcoast gallery as well as many of my completed scrapbook pages (http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/go/Salster). Last March I jumped on the bandwagon and started a blog (http://stampinsally.blogspot.com) to showcase my creative side. You will also find my sketches and many completed crafty things...scrapbooking is my first love, but I like paper crafts of all kinds! :)
Thanks again for asking me to participate, I look forward to seeing some new layouts with my sketch!!!
