SISTER Sunday - January 6th
Tell us about your family: I’ve been married to Ian (who is also a scrapbooker) for six years. We have two scrapbooking children as well: Ralph is four (and was chosen to be Memory Villa’s featured Child Designer for January!), and Kaycie will be three next month. We are also expecting a new baby boy in March…but that one’s not scrapbooking yet, that we know of :-)
How long have you been scrapbooking? Scrapbooking found me five years ago this month.

What is it about scrapbooking that you really love? Oh, everything. Pretty pictures of my family and the things/places/people I love…playing with papers and paints and goodies…learning new things as new techniques are born…and especially getting to share ideas and projects with my online friends.
Describe your scrap space. Do you like/dislike it? My scrap space is currently my whole house…space is at a premium here, so every nook and cranny has something scrappy stored in it. I craft on top of the piano or on the stove half the time. But my dh is setting up a scraproom downstairs now that’s half done (our papers are already organized along one wall..we just have to move a little furniture around before it’s ready for a table and such) and I will be VERY excited to be able to craft in one place!
Do you enjoy other crafts and/or hobbies? I enjoy everything papercrafting…have been on a big card-making kick lately, plus I like to make altered items for my home.
What scrapbook magazines do you read? I read anything I can get my hands on…lol! But I think my current subscriptions are Memory Makers, GiftMaker and CardMaker, and BHG Scrapbooks Etc.
How thick is your cardstock and paper stash? We have paper racks along one 8’ish wall of our soon-to-be scrapbook room, gleaned from a going-out-of-business Rag Shop a year or so ago. I don’t dare actually measure how tall that stack would be if we piled it up together!
Are you an organized or messy scrapper? Both. My core items, I have where I can find them. But everything is all over the (small, cluttered) house, so to *anyone* else (including my husband!) it looks like there’s no rhyme or reason to it. (Our papers, however, are very organized!)

Be sure to drop by her blog (and let her know you were there!). Lots of stuff to read and see :-)
