SKETCH Saturday-Nov 3-Paula Sealey

Today our sketch artist is PAULA SEALEY ! Here is what Paula says:

~*~*~*~*~
Hi everyone, my name is Paula Sealey and I live in the South Of England in the U.K.

Tell us about your family: I have a partner called Mark, and we've just celebrated our 14th year together (phew!). We have two wonderful children, Benjamin, who is 12 and Rebecca who is 10, they are the main focus of my scrapbook pages. We also have two pet cats, Misty and Milo, who have also appeared on many of my layouts:)

How/Why did you start scrapbooking? I saw a demonstration on television and thought it would be a fantastic way of getting all my photos that were stuck in boxes into the open. I began by printing my own papers from clipart programmes, then discovered scrapbooking shops, and, well, I've had no money in my purse since!

How long have you been scrapbooking? 4 years

What is it about scrapbooking that you really love? I love the fantastic people I've met, and the way I can be creative without having to paint, draw pictures or hand sew, all of which I'm useless at! Chopping up pieces of paper and lining up embellishments suits me to a tee:D

How many hours a week do you scrapbook? This really differs from week to week, but probably around 8.

How long does it take you to complete a layout? Again, this depends. On a good day, I could probably complete two layouts in about 3 hours.

Where do you get your inspiration? From scrapbooking products mostly, I can tell if something is 'me'.

Describe your scrap space. Do you like/dislike it? I have a little nook in the main living area of our house. It means I can still be with the family while I'm scrapping, which I like. I have plenty of storage for all my stash, and nobody seems to have noticed that I keep taking over a little bit more space every time I buy something new!

What are your favourite colours to scrapbook with? Every colour under the sun:)

I am currently on the design team for Carolinez Craftz scrapbooking shop, and, until it closed down, I was on the Design Team for Creative Scrapbooking Magazine.

Here are Paula's sketch and layout. And, scrappers, as usual, leave a comment and let us know you've tried it and where to find it. Thanks, everyone!

Thanks so much, Paula! A great sketch and a gorgeous layout!
