TEACHING Tuesday-Oct.2nd

Wendi's favorite technique is...
Crackling. This technique is just so much fun and easy to do - simply paint your underlying color and then once dry paint over itwith the crackling medium and let dry until tacky. Then paint another color overtop. The crackling medium allows the first color to show through the cracks that are formed. With all of the new textures on the market today -transparencies, scrapbook film, chipboard, - this technique adds some beautiful effects!

This is something I have never tried, but I like the way it looks. I guess I should buy some crackling medium and give it a go :-)

I use crackling all the time...it's great for covering chipboard to make booklets.
