FOTO Friday

Today, I woke up thinking about "hands". How many things our hands can do and feel! They are amazing parts of our bodies. I went to visit a friend last night -- she has a newborn baby. I just love holding a baby's tiny hands; they able able to grasp one's finger so tightly. My youngest son and I examined each little finger and marvelled at how small the fingernails were. As a baby grows into a toddler, we see the chubby toddler hands. So cute and very inquisitive, learning all kinds of fine-motor skills. The school-age child's hands are often nail-bitten or have brightly painted nails :-) Wedding pictures show nicely manicured hands. And of course, I love looking at older people's hands as well. Even though many of them are wrinkled and gnarled, they have such stories to tell!

So, today, lets focus on hands. Take some photos of the "hands" in your home. If you are able, take photos of your parents, and your grandparents, your children, YOU!

Later in the month, we may have a challenge to use these photos in a layout.
