Time to welcome a new sister to the Sisterhood of Scrap :-)

Tell us about your family: I have been married to my DH, Steve, for 11 years. We have an 8 year old daughter Kylie, 6 year old son Weston, 4 year old daughter Payton, and a little boy, Wade, that will be 2 on the 15th of this month. My dh is a podiatrist and I am a stay at home mom. I taught 8th grade science before decided to stay home after Weston was born. I have not taught school in almost 7 years.

Who/What inspired you to start scrapbooking? My mother in law gave me an album, papers, and supplies to get me started scrapbooking my wedding pictures for a shower gift in 1998. I had not "scrapbooked" before that. I had kept mementos and pictures though all through high school and college. I just didn’t know that was scrapbooking. I love the craft thought and am really grateful for those first official supplies I got in 1998.

Does anyone in your family also scrap? My mother in law and sister in laws scrap but no one is really into it as much as me.
